J.L. Prince is both a professional violinist and a professional luthier. After graduating with a degree in violin performance at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music in China, J.L. came to the United states to attend the world renown Violin Making School of America. Upon graduation she worked with the highly regarded Peter Prier and Sons violin shop in Salt Lake City. Now J.L. is a professional luthier who specializes in making, repairing, and restoring stringed instruments such as the violin, viola, and cello, while also having the background as a musician which gives her a great appreciation for the player’s connection to their instrument as well as the technical knowledge regarding it. Setting up shop in St. George UT, our goal is to provide personalized, professional service to our community.

• Accessories: We sell all of the accessories you require to support your passion for music including bows, cases, and strings.
• Professional service, repairs, and restoration: Whether it is a student’s violin in need of a new bridge, or a family heirloom in need of restoration we can take care of it.
